the chicas have just returned from canada and the winnipeg folk festival...lord have mercy what a great event, canadians are special people and they know how to take care of their guests, they also know how to dress for the weather unlike the chicas who were forced to wear garbage bags on sat to protect us from the howling rain....aside from one blustery day it was lovely and sunny mostly. we played lots of songs and stages and made new friends......it was a wonderful opportunity and we thank all involved.........tres chicas will always remember you......go schleppers!

we're back!

hello all,
finally we are peeking out of the nest in which we have been brooding our secret projects of Spring, most importantly..........
we have been working on our new live dvd. what an adventure, to be released this summer, it is turning out so beautifully, we have great talented friends and cohorts bringing this thing to life and are so excited to have the chicas live, as they are in their natural habitat, a stage......at the pour house in raleigh on film.....many surprises and lovely moments to be sure ...... all this to be continued.....
we hope to see you at Shakori hills sunday april 2oth or in gastonia may 1oth or any place down the road, till then...more news coming, along with new pictures and music.....
